I have appreciated all of the support over the last several months from our community, first responders, Sheriff Huff, and my family. I am looking forward to an opportunity to serve our county as the Sheriff. I have worked in Law Enforcement over the last 23 years and have enjoyed serving our communities here in Payette County.
Over the last several weeks, I have shared my goals with you. I wanted to take a final opportunity to share them with you again. As Sheriff, I will uphold the Constitution and the Laws in the State of Idaho. My top priority is to address the staff turnover rate that we have seen in the last several years. The turnover of staff costs our department and the community money every year. While turnover can be expected, I will work to reduce the frequency. The staff leaving our agency often cite the following three reasons for leaving: Competitive Wages, Competitive Benefits Package, and Job Satisfaction. I plan to work with the Payette County Board of County Commissioners to address these issues and reduce our turnover rate. I will manage the Sheriff’s Office in an efficient manner that uses tax dollars wisely and ensures that we are providing the best service possible to our community.
Throughout my life, I have found ways to be involved in the community. I enjoy interacting with our youth and answering their questions. As Sheriff, I will continue to be involved in the community that I served.
Thank you for your support. Make sure to request a ballot and vote Andy Creech for Sheriff!
A candidate that believes in partnership with citizens to make our communities safer.
